Innometriks' Products are made in the USA

At Innometriks Inc it is not enough just to say "Made in America" on the box we are focused on developing, manufacturing, testing, supporting and buying as much US made products and services as we physically are able to. While our competitors are seeking new ways to outsource every aspect of their production we are seeking new ways to bring that to the US. Currently all electronic components that we manufacture are made in our US manufacturing facility. Currently all assembly, testing and packaging are done in our US manufacturing facility. While many of us understand the current impact that our economy is feeling due to the effects of outsourcing many North American companies are doing little about it.

When Innometriks Inc was formed it was always our concern to look at ways we could keep every level possible of our production here in the US it wasn't just for the economic concerns we had. We also believed that we could produce superior quality; we believed that we could provide superior support, we believed we could also provide superior features all at a competitive price. You might say our belief has become our reality. Our current line of products that are made here in the US outperform our competitors products at competitive prices.

Having said all that about the economics and quality it was something more than that for us. Our product was designed to be based on open standards and flexible capabilities. However would were not willing to sacrifice any level of security in order to achieve any of those objectives. We believed that focusing our efforts on locally manufacturing our products was the best way we could ensure the highest level of security to our customers.

While we all see the importance of these issues and many are feeling the impact of so many companies make the decision to move their operations and manufacturing overseas. I think the quote by former US President Ronald Regan said it all. "A recession is when your neighbor loses his job. A depression is when you lose your job." We at Innometriks Inc are working hard to make sure that we stop what Ross Perot referred to as a sucking sound "That great sucking sound is the jobs leaving".

Great outsourcing quotes

"If you're like me, when given the choice between buying a product made overseas and purchasing one with the "Made in U.S.A." label, you'll choose to support your fellow Americans. Many of us take great pride in making an effort to purchase products made in America, by American workers, using American parts. That's why the "Made in U.S.A." label is so important. Consumers look to it as a sign of quality, and they seek it out in an effort to help fellow American workers. American businesses use the label as a selling point and source of pride."
~U.S. Senator Chuck Grassley (R-IO)

"I believe most Americans want to purchase American-made products, but they often don't have the information they need to make such decisions."
~U.S. Senator Tim Johnson (D-SD)October 14, 1998

"We want the entire world to buy American, because the best products in the world carry the label, "Made in the USA."
~President George W. Bush, radio address, March 13, 2004

"Coming together is a beginning; keeping together is progress; working together is success."
~Henry Ford

"A recession is when your neighbor loses his job. A depression is when you lose your job."
~Ronald Reagan

"Every job in manufacturing generates eight more jobs in other sectors like construction, wholesaling, and finance. If we don't have manufacturing in this country, we don't have those other jobs. We know that American living standards will fall if a healthy manufacturing sector is not maintained, especially in a national security-conscious post-9/11 world."
~Bill Canis, Executive Director of the Manufacturing Institute at the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM)

"We believe that people ought to be able to work and at the same time earn a livable wage. We don't want to see jobs taken away to other countries, reducing the opportunities for people in America to work."
~U.S. Rep. Danny Davis (D-IL)

"There are 293 million people living in the United States. If each one would shift $20 a month in spending from foreign made products to American made products that would create 5 million new jobs."
~Richard Kemple, 2005

"Corporate greed is shipping American jobs overseas."
~Lou Dobbs Columnist - award winning television journalist

"Since the end of 2000, we've lost about 2.5 million manufacturing jobs… Companies have no loyalty to the country. Their loyalty is to the bottom line. Executives are making huge profits, and companies are detaching from this nation. The American way of life doesn't matter anymore."
~Jim Schollaert Director of Strategic Outreach for the American Manufacturing and Trade Action Coalition (AMTAC)

"Free Trade is the serial killer of American manufacturing and the Trojan Horse of world government. It is the path to the loss of economic independence and national sovereignty. Free Trade is a bright and shining lie."
~Pat Buchanan Writer, Economist, Former Presidential candidate

"Americas growing free trade deficit is selling the nation out from under us."

~George Malone Senator, Nevada[1958]

"If we buy the steel from Britain, we have the steel but the money is gone. If we buy the steel in the United States, we have the steel and the money, too. Such an advantage far outweighs a lower price for imported steel."
~Abraham Lincoln President - Summed up the sentiment especially well when deciding to purchase railroad tracks.

"The theory is, free trade allows access to low cost consumer goods and therefore improve the standard of living faster than wages increase. Also, that workers who lost their jobs to imported foreign products would quickly find other jobs and that the trade deficit would decrease. That is, we are better off and have a higher standard of living due to free trade. Wrong, none of this has happened in America."
~Ben Miles Inventor, Farmer

"The academic and economic elites only view the world as consumers, never as producers. Engaging in useful work is considered beneath contempt so the problems of production are certainly beyond scholarly consideration."
~Den Black Engineer

"He, therefore, who is now against domestic manufacture, must be for reducing us either to dependence on that foreign nation, or to be clothed in skins, and to live like beasts in dens and caverns. I am not one of these."
~Thomas Jefferson President
