Based on the Linux 2.6 embedded OS the Innometriks product line is arguably the most innovative thing to hit the security world since the understanding of fingerprints themselves. Providing our customers with ANSI standard templates and source code for both the PC and the readers we believe are not only what our customers were asking for; it is truly a next generation security requirement. Who wants to be tied to one manufacturer’s proprietary templates? Who wants to be tied to their version of software? We didn’t think you did—and it seems you have agreed.

Our approach of providing not just a simple SDK but also the source code of our products—both on the PC and the reader—will open up the biometric space to true collaborative innovation. Our use of standards based templates and communications will also expand your ability to take products into markets and applications that were impossible before.
